Ingredients
1/2 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk or coconut milk
3/4 TBSP chia seeds
2 TBSP nut butter (peanut butter, almond butter, sunflower seed butter, etc.)
1 TBSP maple syrup
1/2 cup gluten free rolled oats
Toppings:
Sliced banana, strawberries, blueberries, apple or anything you like!
Additional chia seeds
Directions
Put milk, chia seeds, nut butter, and maple syrup in mason jar and stir with spoon. Add oats and stir a few more times (make sure all oats are immersed in milk) Cover securely and set in refrigerator overnight. Enjoy for breakfast – garish with toppings if desired.
Notes
Overnight oats will keep in refrigerator for 2 days, although they taste best within the first 12-24 hours.
